Minimalist portrait session at White Sands
Sixtynice traveled to White Sands National Park, New Mexico in September 2024 to photograph Krys, a creator building a visual identity rooted in nature and minimalism. This Sixtynice portrait session uses only natural light and the stark gypsum dune landscape to produce clean, editorial-grade personal portraits.
What we covered
Minimalist solo portraits of Krys
Nature-integrated compositions using dune lines, open sky
Detail and texture close-ups for social content
Vertical and horizontal crops optimized for multi-platform delivery
Process
On location, Sixtynice directed Krys through poses shaped by the moving light at White Sands working golden hour and open shade for clean, high-contrast frames. Post-production follows a restrained color grade: muted tones, preserved skin texture, no heavy retouching. The edit keeps the natural palette of the landscape intact and holds Krys as the focal point in every frame.
Delivery
Sixtynice delivered final files next day. High-resolution exports plus web-optimized versions included. Krys uses these images across web, social media, and personal channels.
